Click here to see WHITBY through the lens of Frank Meadow Sutcliffe! PS I have no commercial link but Sutcliffe's photographs are historical! and any photographer worth his salt should at least know the history of their subject. He is one of the reasons I consider myself lacking, by the way. TG
Interesting idea, you've really emphasised the shape of her profile by framing her like this. I'm not entirely sure about cutting so much of her out, but this is a great experiment and makes for something unusual and thought-provoking. I really enjoy your work.
Call me square, but I'm not sure that's appropriate material for this site. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that things like that are best left to art classes and victoria's secret.
i like but i wish she was looking a little more down like to follow the lines her arm and eyebrow makes. (Im taking art appreciation and they discuss these things) and a little more facial expression (that comes solely from me). i think the amount you cut out is good though and i love the shadow on her face.
Hey Ian,
I like this one,
The pose, the composition, the look,
I'm not so sure about the skin color, maybe just a matter of taste,
Her eyes do look somewhat softer, do not stand out, while I think they should earn a little more attention, maybe just a little, but definitely more,(~8
Lovely model shoot, I can see you have lots more potential than I,(~8
