Rising high in the Cairngorms Scotland, the upper Dee flows through a fairyland of delightful surroundings, past Braemar, Invercauld, Balmoral, Ballater and enters the sea at Aberdeen.
This is brilliant Mick!...I know the river Dee well, but dont recognise this part!, you have captured this image very good!...real sombre feeling about this, with the falling sun reflecting on the water..crackin'....Bob
This is becoming a desktop wallpaper for sure! Very good capture, the detail is extrodinary, and the compsition is excellent. You have done a fine job with the colors as well.
I like this, and it reminds me of Charles Kingsley's Mary. . . . poor Mary:(
The colours are beautiful
"O Mary, go and call the cattle home,
And call the cattle home,
And call the cattle home,
Across the sands o' Dee;"
The western wind was wild and dank wi' foam
And all alone went she.
- Charles Kingsley, The Sands o' Dee
