Wow, Mick, this is magnificent! Those clouds with the sun peeking throuhg are taking my breath away. And the warm colours of the bales and filed are lovely! Must've been wonderful to be there that early! I can just imagine the early morning smells and different noices! AWSOME!!!!
Splendiferous capture Mick. What some of us miss out on by not being out and about that early !! :)
The colours is this are just superb. Looks like an 'old masters' painting.
** To all my dear friends, I will be missing from Caedes, from the 24th June...touring and vacationing!.....Will miss you all...but will have great 'goodies' for you when I return!!!**
Powerful & unusual image. The bales of hay are so earthy and steady while the sky is full of motion and change. Love the contrast between the two. The sky is angry and ready to let loose. Wonderful sunlight breaking through the clouds. Silhouetted trees go well with the coming darkness. Very appealing colors, especially the orangy hay. What a great job you did with this! Thanks for this stormy view :))
Your title and description would lead one to assume the "bales" are the subject of focus.
I have to admit I spent more than a few minutes staring at this marvelous image before I even noticed the bales. Couldn't take my eyes off that sky you captured. Just FANTASTIC!
The sunlight attempting to thrust it's way through that dark cloud cover makes for extraordinary earth tones. Thanks for giving me the opportunity me lose myself in this early morning classic.
