My sister has a house in this haven of peace & tranquillity which nestles amongst acres and acres of beautiful farmland on the outskirts of the Cairngorms Scotland which is 30 miles away from the largest city...You could be in another universe such is the contrast. The hustle & bustle of city life makes way for relaxed pleasure. Traffic noise & pollution are replaced with gentle walks and fresh country air.....Please enjoy.

You do beautiful work, Mick and this is par for your portfolio (that's good). Scotland is a beautiful country and you do a good job bringing it to us. Kelcey said it - superb as always. (Of course this wouldn't be a REAL picture of bonnie Scotland without sheep grazing, oh wait, you got that)

the lighting is interesting in this. There appear to be breaks in the clouds, although the sky in view doesn't reveal it, causing the first field to be lit in the center but not so much around the edges.

Mick ... you are one of a handful of members who have a style that's immediately recognizable. I have this notion you take a picture, print it out, place it on an easel and then gently paint in all those soft yet rich earth colored tones that appear in all your postings. Images and descriptions such as provided here make me want to hop a plane to see your marvelous countryside in person. Marvelous work ... Thank You my friend.

I knew it would be your artwork Mick and of course picturesque Scotland. You are an ambassador for your country, by showing us those great places! Your photos make me dream of a two month trip to discover all these sceneries with my own eyes. To tell you the truth I fell in love with Scotland some time ago, watching some photos on some other website...

Interesting color and light play yet again. I like the orange shades. They look so alive. The sky is ok but not perfect as some of ur other work. Nice focus and work on the whole.

You said it in your description of this photo - - CONTRAST - - What grabs me in this shot is the contrast between the storm clouds and the sunlite field. Very pretty! Wen
