I know this is not my usual type of picture, but I thought someone out there might get some enjoyment from viewing this fellow.....By the way he his an Aberdeen Angus Bull.
I like this one!! Your playing around and being creative has paid off here. Nice Job! Bob up there would like to eat the subjects in our posts LOL! Sandi
This is amazing! I've seen one in real, and I think it is a very nicelooking bull!
Great shot, whole in black, with some orange in it! Great shot!

A fine rendition of the Taurean star sign! What a highly original capture, Mick and it looks terrific at full resolution. The colourful harness forms a perfect lead-in for focusing on the bull's eye, although I wonder if the latter might more accurately reflect its title, if the former were a smidgeon lighter in hue. Nice work, Mick!
wow! that is magnificent Mike! what a beautiful beast! love the flourescent colours of the collar. Shame he has to have his mouth tied shut though, but they must know what they are doing! Patti

Yes this is certainly a change of pace for my friend from Cornwall. The thumbnail struck me as being some sort of fractal :o) Viewing full screen I was pleasantly surprised to see you had done a most creditable job with this bull. Put me in mind of one of those paintings on velvet that were the rage a few years back with Elvis Presley as the artists subject. I'm serious when I say I REALLY like this piece of work Mick. My only suggestion would have been a slightly different shade as the background. Nothing bright ... perhaps a very dark charcoal gray in order that the full shape of the bulls head and expression might be more readily seen. Just my thoughts to the man whose a MASTER with the lens.
Fantastic 'portrait' of this gorgeous animal! Since I grew up in a rural part of Aberdeenshire, I saw a few of these fellas! This is a cracking good photo - well composed and colour perfect!
Nice one Mick,
I like the dark side of this image, I think it represents the great power that lies within his personality, I like how you bring out the brown an the red colors, they are a great theme to comply with the bull.
Wow Mick you do manage to create unusual and dramatic shots. I have never seen a bull captured this way. Magnificent work; it will make this bull memorable for me. :)
Memorable indeed, Mick. It's a different way of presenting an animal, that's for certain, and I like tim's point of view of the darkness representing the power that lies within this animal. I guess you've just got to love that halter. It certainly is eye catching.
Very different from you Mick - still with your usual expertise though . The treatment you have given this is very unique and I agree with the comments above about the velvet look to it.
Very unique and interesting capture Mick. I like the drama & darkness to this fella. Funny seeing a bull that appears gentle. I think the bright red harness is perfect for this handsome guy. I also like the green next to his dark coat. I gave him a 10 in the VB. He is a keeper! :))
What a wonderful picture, I really enjoyed viewing it and it will make a great Desktop. This is really outside the norm and really catches your eye. Thanks for sharing!
It's very good for giving a sad, dark theme that makes you feel sorry for the bull in a definite questioning way. Good job making him just fade into the picture.
I'm 18 and don't travel much. But I tend to bring my camera around just to catch what sticks out from my everyday goings. (pardon me if I speak my mind)

I too, love this shot for its uniqueness ! The bright orange caught my eye at once in the thumbnail - enough for me to want to open it and see just what it was about. The shot definitely makes a statement and shows your creativity!
