Ah Mick you are really something. Days without posting ... whetting my appetite ... and then you give us yet another dazzler ... Damn it man! You're good. I want to cross that field of heather and enter that glowing valley ... for surely Heaven is just beyond. Forgive my lack of expression, superlatives seem mundane ... I'm in another place at the moment.
Mick you really have a way with colors...very beautiful and dramatic scene here, as is often the case with your images...wonderful job and top marks from me in the VB.:Pat.
you done have to plead for enjoyment! This photo shouts JOY. This is what I call Natural Beauty, or as some might call it: Beauty of Nature...
Thanks for sharing. Scottland is amazing. I've got to visit there someday
Enjoying away, Mick. It's in my favs. And Muggsy, heaven is not on the other side, however the Glenfiddich distillery is - depending on which direction your heading of course.

Gazing at it I feel that I am in a beautiful dream...What a splendid landscape. I love the light in the sky that constrasts with the jewel colours. Fantastic capture. + faves. :)
This is the same location as "Highlands" isn't it? I just happen to have "Highlands" up on my desktop for days now. I was going thru my collection of hundreds of images and landed on Highlands and was awed by it's beauty. Now, here is another view of it. How timely. It's a keeper.

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the almighty. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom i trust". Psalm 91: 1 and 2
The beer urges me on, the bewitching beer, which sets even a wise man to singing and to laughing gently and rouses him up to dance and brings forth words which were better unspoken.
