The Scottish Highlands conjure up many images but whether your sense of adventure tends towards the relaxing or the exhilarating, the highlands at its heart, is the perfect place in every sense.....During my visit to the highlands I never took my hill walking lightly, as the Scottish climate can be very erratic to say the least....Please enjoy.

The colors of this shot are spectacular...really almost abstract. It really gives the shot a new meaning...very surreal and magical. Nice job, Mick!!

I see the weather was nice as usual up here? Great scene with wonderful lighting Mick. I was amazed how quickly the lighting changes from one minute to the next in the Highlands giving the same scen a totaly different look. You need the right gear to go walking up there mate!

The beer urges me on, the bewitching beer, which sets even a wise man to singing and to laughing gently and rouses him up to dance and brings forth words which were better unspoken. Homer (800 BC - 700 BC), The Odyssey (note: beer substituted for wine)
