Whilst walking the highlands of Scotland I came across these two lovely girls...I thought it was very considerate of them to stay in this position long enough for me to photograph them....Please enjoy
Looks like the same sheep up the top of my street.. Do they Baaa in Gaelic too!!..he he! .. Fine work Mick me mate!!..looks a tad ominous there...better head for home ...knowing those Scottish lands!!! .. great post! ..
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

Wonderful shot Mick. I think these sheep imagine they are posing for a "Stag At Bay' picture :)As they are girls I suppose that is a bit daft.
They look totally at home in their surroundings and he sky adds a touch of the "haunts"
Good sharp and well composed shot.Seeing that Scottish sky and the wool on those sheep made me feel suddenly cold even though it is still warm weather in this island om mine.Good work.
Not to Baaaaaaaaaaaad Mick. I didn't realize the girls had horns as well. Probably to honk with to speed up someone they're waiting for. Very impressive. Look like descendent of Big Horn Sheep. Love the sky. Good post Mick.

Ideas, unlike solid structures, do not perish. They remain immortal, immaterial and everywhere, like all Divine things. Ideas are a golden, savage landscape that we wander unaware, without a map. Be careful: in the last analysis, reality may be exactly what we think it is.

They must be very lovely ladies indeed... to pose for you long enough to make this gorgeous shot! Or maybe you told them you were going to post it on Caedes. LOL
This photo like all others that you present... is outstanding in a marvelous variety of ways....firstly.....
These 'Black faced Scottish sheep' are another perfect example... of not only your superb talents...as a photographer...but demonstrate again these gorgeous animals that typify your country and in this case England...as well...
I read a little about these 'black faced sheep'...and they occupy some northern parts of the UK...as well...
In '1989' their wool supplied 40% of the worlds needs...am I right Mick? Hope I have my facts right...
But at any rate...they are most beautiful and unique in their appearance...not dissimilar to the 'Hylanders'....you cherish so much...and I would too...of course!
They are gorgeous specimins of vigorous health...they grace God's country in the most beautiful of ways...again..like the 'Hylanders'... standing in the midst of Scotland's scenic country side...and giving it life and character...
Very appealing Mick in so many ways...and then we must add to this presentation that of a very skilled and highly trained photographer...please take a bow...Mick....;o) We hear *audience clapping*...another smile appears...mine...;o)
Another country 'painting'....I would give anything to see your beloved Scotland....just once...I am sure it would remain in my photographic memory forever...smiling...
A truly outstanding capture, Mick! Wonderful clarity, lighting and colour contrasts. I especially like the magenta coloured patch the sheep are standing in, and the blues and greens in the landscape. You have captured these lovely ladies magnificently, with the addition of those dramatic skies. Kudos! :)
A fine shot...people here don't really appreciate animal shots. I always have to remind myself that this isn't a photography site. This is a good photograph, under rated and I for one really appreciate your effort.
