The Scottish Grampians countryside could have been created especially for these horses…… Here in the green heart of Scotland nature has provided a magnificent varied landscape of rugged hills and glens for us to use and enjoy.
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
I always look forward to open your posts. They are always so well thought out with perfect compostion and lighting. This is no exception. I can see you waiting until light was just right and then taking photo. You are a master. Good post Mick.
It's like a beautiful magical vision...The lighting on the ponies is awsome, and I love the rich colours and shadows of the landscape. + faves I love it much, one of your best Mick. Happy Holidays my friend. :)
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

Ideas, unlike solid structures, do not perish. They remain immortal, immaterial and everywhere, like all Divine things. Ideas are a golden, savage landscape that we wander unaware, without a map. Be careful: in the last analysis, reality may be exactly what we think it is.

Just had this in the VB!
Excellent pic! Don't know what kinda effect you did but the colors and light look fantastic. And the composition is great too. The horses are just lovely!
