As well as the outstanding beauty of the Scottish glens, they are also steeped in ancient history with evidence of settlements dating back to Meolithic times....I feel that this picture is full of Scottish romance and mystique.....Please enjoy.

You really should try the Scottish tourist board, or maybe a whisky distillery with the peaty tones in this. The lighting here gives it so much depth and richness, it's tremendous work.

Thanks to all my friends for the wonderful images I get to look at and learn from on Caedes every day. I always have something to say about them, but don't always have the time to record it. Please forgive me if I can't comment on all of your uploads.

Great work Mick. The colors are so rich. I really like the darkness of the cloud that is surveying the landscape. Adds so much to the tones of the earth. You are the E.F.Hutton of photography.

It's such a mighty sight. The strong and fiery colours make it look primeval, like the beginning of time before the earth settled its fire. The sky is dramatic look. I love it Mick. An excellent composition that I have to fave! :)

Mick dear,
I do love this dark, hazy and magic mystery of Scottish glen.
As always your eye plus skills [and sensitivity] are amazing = the effect is as close to perfection as it can be.
The image shines like a lamp on my desktop although it is dark and somewhat ominous !
