I decided to photograph this solitary tree because I feel it stands alone as a symbol of survival.... You see many such trees in Cornwall, defying the elements....I hope this picture adds some warmth to your room....I think that the gentle warm background colours magnify the strength of the tree...Please enjoy.

I like the dramatic shape of the tree. Maybe its like that due to the winds.

In an opposite way of survival, our trees huddle together in dense forests...The colours are absolutely wondrous and that tree has a beautiful shape. Beautiful image Mick. :)

I like trees and this one is beautiful. It seems to be enjoying its solitary being. It's setting example for the little sprouts that might be looking on. Great colors and composition. As always your use of existing light is perfect. Very good Mick.

Thanks for that fine narrative Mick. Your silhouetted tree stands proudly against the fabulous background. This single tree looks like it has survived well against the elements. The soft colours give off wonderful warmth. A definite winner!

My goodness! You must have gotten comments from everyone in caedes eh? lol........There is something so wonderful about solo trees such as this, especially in front of a gorgeous sunset.
I love this type of silhouette, and I hope you will give me permission to do a canvas painting of this lovely photo of yours. It's just perfect. Fuzzy trunk? why? what is it? Verena
