It doesn't matter who you are, everyone looks at Stonehenge [and asks] "who built them, why did they build them?"....."What was so important about building something like this that the community put so much effort in?"....Please enjoy.

Marvellous sky behind the silhouetted monoliths, Mick.
A well-balanced shot that looks great on the desktop.

I don't think I have ever seen a silhouette of Stonehenge before. You did a fantastic job with this presentation of that famous landmark. I love the cloud formations, and the color tone. Well done, Mick.

Superb Mick, great time of day to shoot it and your silhouettes are proper black, imposing and full of mystery. The sky adds dynamism too, very well done.

Very cool! I'll see this in person in April, I can't wait! A sunrise tour that you get to go inside the stone circle :))) This is a wonderful presentation of it. Love the colorful sky setting the shapes off perfectly :)

The only reason I can think of Mick is: "Inquiring minds want to know." Great look at these. I love the lighting (your trademark) and the silhouettes. I faved this so I can use it on desktop. At least I know the person that took this one. Excellent. Happy Easter Mick.

great silhouette, but the sky could use some tweaking for that green cast. [wonders if it's from smog????]

Anyway, when I adjusted the levels in PS, the blue was falling WAY short of the red and green. Correcting the blue really helped with this shot.

For me it is not that important why or how - I am sure, it has to do with some kind of religion - but how beautiful it looks like. And I wonder, how you managed to get a shot there without people. I imagine, there are always a lot of tourists, or? Great work!

FINALLY, someone submitted a photo of one of my favorite places in the world and the photo doesn't suck! Okay, sorry, I regressed about 40 years to the dialect of my youth but, y'know, it's true. I've seen a lot of shots of stonehenge and they're all grainy, or heavily contrasted, or contain any other photo problem you can think of. This one is very nice and deserves a much higher c-index so I'm officially taking over control of this website (for about 20 seconds) and giving you a 92. That sound good to you? Good... and thanks for submitting.

(p.s. I take it back, I just saw your sunset Stonehenge and I guess there is another good photo of the place.)
