These two lovely horses have super easy temperaments and its a pleasure to spend twenty minutes in their company...The way they walked towards me they obviously knew that their picture was going to be taken...Please enjoy.
92 percent American teens would die if Abecrombie and Fitch told them it uncool to breathe. Would you be in the 8 percent laughing their asses off at the others?
Oh wow do I like this one. The colors and detail are fantastic and the composition is done so well also. Faved!!
I can almost feel their coat the detail is so good.

Your usual topnotch work Mick. Love the colors and the contrast. Is that you city in the background? Horses always like their photo taken for some reason. Good post and have a great weekend.
All the elements I like, nice light, drama in the sky and thought the main point is the horses things to see everywhere! A fine scape behind the trees and I`m wondering if you know what the large building towrds the top left is? Another belter Mick.
Wonderful the way you captured them coming towards you Mick - I keep waiting for them to get closer:)
Excellent clarity and colour and up to your usual high standard.
I love the hyper-reality of this one, Sabine's right it has the taste of freedom. It could almost be Marlboro Country! The contrast between the brown of the horses' coats and the green vegetation is very good.

This is a beautiful image Mick...the rich colors of the horses and the natural background of green...are so inviting...the image Mick appears to be 3D...is it?
I haven't ridden a horse in many yrs...but if I did...I would rush to the scene and jump up on the appaloosa...and ride bareback...
Whoops...those markings must be 'black' and 'white'...and on the rump and loins... to be labled an apppaloosa...sorry...;o)
About their temperaments...Mick...one can see the calmness in their demeanor...there is a softness, a reticence about them...that would make twenty minutes spent with them a real joy, no doubt about it...;o)...
My previous words regarding temperaments...were perhaps the reason for their fearless approach made toward their photograher...positive of it!! They had learned by now from your many passings...there was nothing to fear...;o)
I recall a point of interest... you having told me sometime ago...that when taking a photograph of animals...that the relationship between the animal and the photographer...was very important...important because... getting the attention of the animal and keeping it was a real trick...there had to be this connection between them....
I just looked up your 'exact' words;
"This type of photography is more about the rapport between the subject and the snapper than the latest gear"...sorry Mick...
Well you did this remakably well...in all of your animal photos...very, very, well!!
Boy Mick, this reminds me of a couple of horses we had on our horse farm in Kentucky. Love the colours, detail and action of them walking. FANTASTIC - fab'd it.
I really think the level of contrast you incorporate in your images gives unique style to your photography. I appreciate your style and really like this image. The horses look like they're on their way to find cover from the rain! Well done!
