This handsome Victorian church with it’s beautiful rosary window and its tall spire was erected in 1870....I will be posting more pictures of churches, until then, please enjoy this one.
A dandy shot Mick. I will look forward to more churches. I had never heard it called a rosary window. I like the darker tones. Very well composed as usual. Have a good weekend.
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By.
Thanks For Sharing ! Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience
Wow!! what an excellent capture!! I love Churches. I take photos of them when I travel. You have done a wonderful job with this one. Thanks for sharing. Lyn.
Hi Mick, sorry I've not been able to visit your gallery for a while - life has taken precedence over Caedes lately. I like the atmosphere you got in this, I often look at village churches and want to photograph them to convey that serene, peaceful atmosphere they have despite being the focus of local life. The perspective on this is good, with the little splash of pink just in front of the building. I might have tried lightening it a little with shadow/higlight, but the darker exposure maintains a sense of mystery.
