Prior to this picture being taken this extremely handsome Peacock was in the company of Peahens...He had his magnificent train spread and whirring his feathers to attract a peahen...Sadly,they were quite unimpressed....Please enjoy.

I know the feeling Mick. I think they call it "being shot down." He seems to be enjoying his station in life with all the great scenery. He has been successful financially, surely success with love will follow. Great colors per usual.

There's lots of lovely detail in this Mick, especially in the little hut at the back and the mass of plants around it. I'm going to be rotten and say that I think the position of the peacock blows the composition a bit - I think it's just too near the bottom of the frame. No denying the perfect detail and the colour rendition all the same, so it works overall. Just a shame he'd put his tail away!

Wow, I can't even imagine finding a peacock walking across my backyard lawn..lol

This is truly an awesome scene, Mick! I love the quaint building in the back, surrounded by various trees and shrubs, all in variegated colours! And that proud peacock with it's vibrant coloured feathers, really stands out and adds so much beauty to his already gorgeous surroundings! Thank you for sharing your talents with us! :)

Very handsome peacock Mick, where I stayed in Hawaii the parking lot was filled with peacocks all the time, they were as common as pigeons in a big city. I'd go to my car and they were surrounding it. Oh those women! I guess they are too picky!

very nice
