This churchyard exists like a small island of time past in the midst of this modern world.... It is a place where there is time for reflection in an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity….Wild flowers, butterflies and wildlife are in plenty in this churchyard and churchyards around the world may be the only place now where such life can be found in some abundance…..Please enjoy

Outstanding work, Mick. I love the lighting, and the colors, as well as the scene itself. The frame is just right for this to be displayed in an art gallery. Top notch stuff for sure.

My first thought was, "this is a real place"?? What a gorgeous picture and when it is on my desktop, it is awesome! Beautiful colors and the loose dirt here and there makes it even more interesting!

When I first saw this I thought 'he's used a graduated filter'. Now I'm not so sure. I particularly love the way the early morning sun catches on the tower; it makes the tower look like polished gold. The frame really enhances things too.

Magical and, yes, tranquil. Whose heart will not lift at an unexpected sight of banks of flowers? The post-photo is perfect for the scene...especially the tower, but even more, the blue light behind the big tree.
