Although these swans on our local lake can be fairly tame, especially to those who feed them daily, this cob in the water was aggressive in defence of its nest....Its size and impressive hissing made it a formidable adversary for me and my camera....Please enjoy.

Fabulous shot with vibrant, rich colours, Mick. I particularly love the deep blue of the pond surface - a perfect background for the cob.

"Two Islands Swans Mated for life" When I saw this photo it reminded me of this song by Christy Moore (link below). What a great photo here Mick. Again the lighting was very cool. And that blue water just pops.
