I captured this scene on the same location as (BLANKET OF SNOW 1&2)…Although the snow adds to Cornwall’s peaceful beauty, and is welcomed by us photographers and those who use it for sport and fun – it is causing disruption too in the communities across the county….The local snow clearing authorities are doing their best to provide access to villages and hamlets….Please enjoy the picture.

Very Cool, I just got done shoveling a blanket of snow, and it didn't look anything like yours Mick.

What a great shot here, I really like this series of pixs.

A beautifully composed shot, Mick and that rose-pink cloud creates such a stunning backdrop. I'd also love to see this image in a more monochromatic palette. A cracker of a shot!

I'm curious whether you mild climated Cornwall is still 'suffering' from the snow, Mick. If the answer would be 'no', you have provided us anyhow with some wonderful images from your beautiful place on earth.
Regards, Cornelius.

Mick, I really like the opposing structures. Almost symbolic of battlefields hundreds of years ago. The composition is excellent as are the colors.

Another gorgeous winter dawn shot, Mick! I love the colors in these images. The blue cast adds an almost otherworldly look that is dramatic and very cold. The pink clouds, pale dawn light, and abandoned building add some visually striking elements to this starkly beautiful landscape. Definitely worth getting up early for.

My, that cloud bank in all these winter shots is exceedingly impressive. The images have an other worldly quality to them. Wonderfully captured too.

Talk about desolate beauty! Contrasts and composition add an isolated yet captivating sense of wonder. Definite eerie mood. Those skies are amazing. Saved.

Hello Mick,
This is the best picture on your blanket serie. Exelent composition and nicely tones makes this scene truly amazing.
I would like to point a little noise on the sky - simple digital noise filtering will make this picture briliant!
Thanks for sharing.
