This locomotive 5552 is a member of the of the 4575 class,built in 1928 and withdrawn 1964….Fully restored she stands at the station in readiness for her duties to work a tourist passenger service and for those who want to discover the excitement and nostalgia of steam travel with a journey back in time…Please enjoy.

Wow do you realize how lucky you are to have gotten a chance to capture such a beautiful image. I always loved locomotive. We have to travel everyday to work via our local trains. If you see in wiki about central railways in India you will be amazed. It has records about the length, employment but best of all the no of people it carries in one go :)

I had been to a measure and seen an old steam engine of the time of the British Regime in India. The Engine looked mysterious yet very elegant. So I envy you to have gotten the chance of capturing the stream engine at work. :) Thank you so much for sharing!
