Low tide reveals an expanse of sand ,fishing boats and pleasure boats in St Ives, a seaside town and fishing village in Cornwall UK…Life in this small town is cradled around the harbour where boats still land good catches of mackerel for the market…. To me the light in this location was truly amazing which I wanted to feature in this picture….Please enjoy

That is really a low low tide leaving all the boats stranded on the beach. with the rainbow over the town and sky full of black clouds to the left and lighter sky on the right. very dramatic capture Mick! Is the tide that low every day or is it a rare occurrence?

Mick, there are three points of interest in this picture and they are all done well. The beach and boats, the town along the horizon, and the powerful sky.

An very very appealing image Mick - the beached boats look quite unusual and as always you have captured a unique atmosphere, added to by the rainbow.
I believe St Ives is a similar size to my town, also with a fishing harbour.

The bright colours in your image are really wondersul
