This location is an area of great natural beauty, it is a wonderful place for walking as it has miles of paths around the lake…Just around the bend there is a bird hide where you can observe wildfowl that teem upon the rich waters. Widgeon, teal, mallard, shoveler, pochard, tufted duck and coot appear in greatest numbers… This is a wonderful place to visit if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of built up areas.... Please enjoy.

Again Mick you impress. I really like the layers of colors and it looks like you brushed them in. I'll have to take a stroll there someday.

It is a most inviting image Mick. I like the shadow of the fence.
Very beautiful countryside captured to perfection.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Dearest Mick,
This looks far too much like Transylvania to appeal to me [have just recently re-watched "Bram Stoker's Dracula" so you know what I mean] !!!
This is quite a new approach to a possibly serene scene ...
I really like it, but not that I would like to go there for holidays and alone - without my dog !!! LOL
How about vampires and the dogs relations BTW I do wonder ...
