This picture of the pipe band was taken at the Ballater Highland Games an event which is held once a year...It is well supported by leading athletes,pipers and dancers who go through a fine programme of Scottish traditional events.....Please enjoy.

Once I saw some Scottish traditional performances like the Edinburgh Military Tattoo in Edinburrie (Edinburgh), and I still impressed. Your excellent image brings back these fond memories, Mick. Scotland The Brave indeed.

I love the pipes and drums. I went to the tattoo last year fulfilling a life long dream, and am going back again this year.

They are a fine looking bunch and its a great capture Mick.
Living close to the Edinburgh of the South (Dunedin) it is a familiar sight and sound to me that never fails to stir the emotions.
