Another tug that Dan and I spotted along the Mississippi in the Baton Rouge Port. The gentleman in the back is texting , at least he isn't the Captain.
That's the cleanest water I've ever seen that far north up the River. this picture must have been taken September or later when the river drops below 3 Ft on the New Orleans Gauge and the Salt Water Wedge forces up the river bringing in the cleaner gulf water
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By.
Thanks For Sharing ! Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience
Great looking photography and love the feeling of movement in this photo along with the lovely detail and colours.Plus the detail in this shot is lovely and sharp you can see detail from front right to the far distance. What fascinates me in this photo is how low the tug is in the river and I think the man texting is calling for help as the skipper as gone missing lol.
Tugs always amaze me. My best friends' dad used to own a tugboat business and we got to go with him a couple times! Wonderful and colorful capture Marsha!!!
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
did you say the guy on the rear was a Tug Texter?
