I am sure when this "Bride to be"scheduled her photo shoot she never dreamed it would be 40 degrees with a howling wind ......not in Louisiana anyway . We spotted her , her photographer ,family and friends trying to make the best of the situation . I took this while she was standing on the front steps of the Louisiana State Capital as her Mother held her winter coat for her. I hope the Wedding day comes with warmer weather .

A very good B&W, you wouldn't think she would have to deal with that kind of weather, the south is supposed to be warm!

Great piece of people work Marsha.
Unfortunatelythe weather can not be arranged along with all the other plans.
I like the contrast of the beautiful bride in her finery and the other folk in their everyday gear :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

I like the feel that the black and white gives this and the subject. Right place at the right time.

Very interesting scene Marsha. Let's hope a little cold and a little wind hasn't cooled her love down.

I really need some raspberry liquor, after looking at this Marsha...just a little to warm me up. What a chilly capture!!! Still I suppose the bride is warm, given the special occasion of the photo session.
