Foggy cool spring day in Baton Rouge along the Mississippi. Dan and I strolled along the walk and watched the Tugs do their thing. The Riverfront is a favorite place for visitors and locals. This Yankee loves The Mighty Mississippi not taking anything away from The Ohio or my beloved Lake Michigan. Don't forget the B&W Challenge.

Marsha, I know I will see this one in the fun challenge, this is superbly done my friend. Composition, and the angle of lines, and sharpness, lets see I think I covered it all, looks great.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Fabulous B&W tones here Marsha! What a lovely place to sit and relax or enjoy a quite stroll. Great depth, I really love the street lamps and the way they get smaller and make that nice, flowing curve.

I love the curve through the shot Marsha and the B&W suits the foggy day well.

Great B&W Marsha. The scene has got great curves and exposure. It is a bonus with the foggy haze that lets that couple walk on into infinity.

I love all the benches and lampposts and the way they curve in the shot. Beautiful black and white, Marsha.

Great stuidy of lines and contrasts Marsha. Never thought I would say rubbish bins are a good bonus in a scene but these one really add to the symmetry of the image.
Good range of tones and an invitation to walk into the scene

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
