Statistics show that every 30 seconds another child is forced into human trafficking . These statistics don't include those 21 and over that are also a victim of this crime . Baton Rouge like many other cities and states have come to realize that the crime of human trafficking IS going on in the streets of the United States . While Dan and I were in Baton Rouge we came across this human trafficking silent auction stub from an organization that is giving these victims of this horrible crime hope . Hear The Cry , See The Need , Be The Change . Stop Human Trafficking.

A thought provoking image Marsha. Yes it is everywhere. more so in the poorer countries. The only way to fight this crime is to increase the detection and punishment.

In my youth I thought this sort of crime disappeared with the Victorian era, but I was naturally wrong. The one fact I've learnt over the years is "human nature never changes" personally I believe the worst of human nature is exposed during economic/political chaos, & war.
I'd love to stop human trafficking/slavery Marsha but that's a very tough road ahead.

Very disturbing to think what some children and others have had to endure at the hands of those with no conscience...a creative way to bring attention to this terrible tragedy...good work Marsha.

What's even scarier is the Fact it could happen to any of Us, Friends or Loved ones at any time.
