At the end of the 22 mile journey through the "Tunnel Of Trees" lies Cross Village and the excellent cuisine of Legs Inn. It was recommended to us years ago and they serve Golabki as good as my Grandmother made. The terrace faces Lake Michigan and you can sit at an umbrella table and eat lunch or dinner and look at Lake Michigan in the distance. The inside of the restaurant has unique carved wooden doors and is very rustic.

Fran - So, let's summarize: You have to drive through beautiful scenery to a rustic inn that serves great food that reminds you of your grandmother's cooking while you look out on Lake Michigan. I don't think there any negatives on this trip. Glad you shared it with us. Thad

It looks like the owner of Legs Inn has been rock hunting too Fran. Is that Mr. Fran in the doorway?
I am ready to try some of their Golabki.
Wonderful post.

This looks like a great place to sit and chow down Fran. Nicely composed and presented. Good job.
