I took this photo while on vacation the last week in July at East Park outside of Petoskey, Michigan. It was so pretty to look down and see the variety of colors and I could hear the waves hitting the shore.

You could have used some Tide for this shot Fran. Your whites are washed out :)
A nice collection of wildflowers set against the blue of the lake water. I like the composition and colours in your photo. Nice work and thanks for sharing.

Looks like a colorful carpet Fran. Great composition. The flowers are pretty and it is hard to believe how blue the water is.

A wonderful find, the only thing I can suggest for this one: In photofiltre you could use the gamma option to darken it up a bit, since the white of the queens lace is a tad overexposed. Just a helpful tip for ya. I bet you had a great time, welcome back. =^..^=sandi♥

Wonderful wildflower scene Fran. Very good idea to show a part from the lake as well, as it gave this image a special touch.

There's nothing like a blanket of wildflowers, is there? I love the view down to the water, too.
