This is the newly rebuild church "Frauenkirche" in Dresden (Germany). She was destroyed in World War II. Reconstruction was financed by gifts from all over the world. The dark stones in building are the original stones from the old ruin. The ruin was a memorial of World War II from 1945 to 2002. (Shot from a balloon trip.)

A friend of mine works in a camera store. The other day a very
confused looking woman approached the counter and handed my friend
a camera. She said "I took pictures, but I forgot to have film in
the camera. Can you please get them out of the camera for me?"

laughter is the best medicine.
My father was in Dresden once, at the moment of the bombing (Arbeits einsetz)
He will never forget that, and later he has returned to so see the rebuilding.
It is incredible how they have done their research and rebuilding of this beautifull
city. I do like this image very much, and have given it a 10 last week in the votingboot.
I am not sure about the 2 colors here. I like or color, or black and white, but not both.
But that is just a matter of personal taste. The image itselve is great.

I saw the movie about the bombing in the war. When I see this great picture...Dresden ist wieder eine wunderschöne stadt :)
