This is one of the tanks @ steetley magnesite @ Hartlepool. Originally built to produce magnesium from sea water in 1937, the site closed after two failed attempts to keep it running in 2005. Due for demolition soon, Bri (slybri) & myself headed down to take a few pics of this sureel landscape of industrial decay. More to follow C & C always welcomed..

Nifty, and a great idea. Your use of the sun's position is especially interesting. With your permission, I think I'll split the image across two monitors--for my personal use only, of course.
