In highschool I submitted an art portfolio to the ends of getting college credit without having to pay for the classes. Part of the requirement was twelve related pieces portraying one's strengths, called the portfolio's 'concentration'. For my concentration I chose to replicate the same photgraphed still life of lillies in different mediums and styles, proving that I could realistically render in any of the mediums while still using my creative abilities to make the picture my own. This particular piece was done in prismacolor pencils on grey mat board. The different styles that the mediums in themselves created was amazing, and very fun to work around. However, I admit I don't know who the original photographer was.... It was a photo out of an old magazine. if anyone recognizes the reference, please... let me know!
