This person was fortunate enough to spend their Easter Sunday afternoon sailing. I had to be content with a picnic on the shore in the sunshine, snapping my camera. There are worse ways to spend the day :) Lake Aviemore, South Island, New Zealand. This lake is 29 square kilometres and a favorite place for boaters, water skiers and for fishing. It is above the Aviemore Dam which is part of the Waitaki Hydroelecticity scheme.
Picking out the sky colors and all colors is an obvious reason...but I am especially enthralled with the NATURAL looking environment as opposed to a manicured landscape! Truly a magnificent and beautiful photo!
{ hard to pull away...so came back to say: wow...this really is a perfect shot...dreamy and ideal for an artists easel..}
