Given to me by a friend, fresh from her Happy Hens who fossick and peck to their hearts content all day long . They just looked so nice I had to take a shot :) They tasted so much nicer than the supermarket ones from the poor caged birds. The brown ones are from 'ornery' white hens and the white one is from a little brown Bantam hen :)

Those are indeed FRESH! But, I have bad news for you. The eggs will be disappearing one by one as they are transferred to my breakfast skillet throughout the rest of this week. I mean why not? They look that real. Great work.

Very well done, Eve. I raised Giant White Rocks, for awhile, and they produced beautiful big brown eggs. They tasted as good as those look.

Wow this photo stands right out at you,love the blue blanket,it bring out colours in the eggs.The detail is lovely and sharp and very nice composition too.Plus the shading over the eggs is just right.Well done to a great shot.
