Thanks to everyone who commented so kindly on my last Broadway Beauty picture. I hope you like this one as well, it was just a little further along the road. I would love to see it when the wisteria is in full bloom. The doorways in many of these dwellings seemed very small.

A lovely capture Eve ... it's neat how they have the window trimmed in blue & the door as well. Beautiful greenery also ... I can imagine how colorful this cottage is with the wisteria in full bloom. Very nicely presented.

This is so attractive, Lyn and the blue and green look so fresh and cheerful against the sandstone wall. I love the way you've composed this shot. Excellent!!

Here's a wee thumbnail of it with the wisteria in full bloom (copyright of Superstock Inc):

Gorgeous LynEve. The clarity and composition are great. The wisteria flowing down from the roof and hanging by the pretty blue window borders is lovely and will be stunning when it's in full bloom. The trim is really bright and noticeable .. and I like it ;) Well done.

Just looked at the thumb that Anne-Marie has posted above and it's excatly what I thought, stunning in full bloom but somehow the green in your capture makes it lovelier.

Boy, you really have a knack for capturing these little cottage scenes. Very interesting shot. It's so interesting to see places like this and wonder who lives there, what their lives are like, etc.

You do these cottages so well. Nice perspective here. The wisteria bush or in this case ... "tree" is outstanding. I know from experience wisteria can grow uncontrollably, but I don't think I've ever seen one quite this large. Surprised it doesn't cause problems being right up against the house. I can see why you mentioned the door ... it looks "doll house" size. Enjoyed this post immensely

I like your choice of captures. I can see it now, if this were in the United States. I wouldn't need an address. I would just tell people to come to the house with the blue door and window. Ha! Very nicely done..

Maybe Hobbits live here. I think it is just wonderful the way the flora just becomes part of the architecture. This shot just has so much charm. I love it.

It almost looks like it's a cottage in a fairy tale, LynEve. It's so quaint and you captured it very well from all the technical points. I just like looking at it and imagining living in such a neat little cottage!

Very beautiful picture.
The door seems indeed small, or people are not large, or they must every time stoop if they want to within.
