Begun in 1499, Bath Abbey is the last of the great medieval churches of England. It has a magnificent fan-vaulted ceiling running the length of the building which is my other upload for today titled "Fans'

Perfect composition and clarity Eve and a wonderfully framed view of the Abbey. I just love looking at these old and so well-maintained buildinds because we have so few here in the US. A very pleasing sight and so glad you shared it. Thanks

Reminded me of a bell ringing tour35 years ago, we ended up at Bath Abbey. To get to the bell tower we had to walk across part of the main roof which gave a beautiful view of Bath at night. An illuminated Wonderland :-)
