Begun in 1499, Bath Abbey is the last of the great medieval churches of England. It has a magnificent fan-vaulted ceiling running the length of the building which is my other upload for today titled "Fans'

Wonderful Lyndy....Thanks for the info...I know what to look for when I visit!...
The frame is a bit distracting from the image!...maybe a bit smaller would be great!.

Reminded me of a bell ringing tour35 years ago, we ended up at Bath Abbey. To get to the bell tower we had to walk across part of the main roof which gave a beautiful view of Bath at night. An illuminated Wonderland :-)
