Humans are requested to avoid this beach on the Otago (NZ) coast between 3 pm and sunrise to allow Yellow Eyed Penguins to come ashore undisturbed, so please come early if you would like to walk along here :)

What a beauty Eve. The clarity of the water and the lush greens, no wonder the penguins like it here and I'm so happy they're protected. Early morning walks work for me ;) Beautifully captured and well composed. Thanks for sharing the beauty.

So tranquil & beautiful Eve ... I love how the hillside is so lush. It is wonderful to hear the penguins are protected at certain times of the day. A very inviting scene & so well captured. Thank you for sharing.

Incredibly beautiful, even more so knowing the powers that be have made a request on behalf of the penguins so they can live a normal life. How wonderful, Eve!! It's a great shot in all ways, technical and mood!

What a lovely beach, Lyn. I think I would want to hide in the foreground grass just to get a peak at them once. LOL I love penquins. Beautiful shot.

A beautiful shot indeed. Very nice work. Why do they allow alien penguins in? Are they migrant workers?

Whoa. This is gorgeous. There are a lot of places humans should have stayed out of and left alone. Glad someone is looking out for the penquins. Beautiful beach.
