A Postcard from London~~~~~~~Wish you were here ! No, that's not right, I am not there, I am here, but I wish I was there. Then I could say 'Wish you were here' because I would be there, and there would be here and here would be there and you would be somewhere else. I think. Now I am leaving to find myself . . . . . if I return before I get back please ask me to wait.

You brought a smile this morning for sure Eve. But this post is actually excellent. The composition is great with all those buses and that itty bitty car next to them sets the scene exactly how it is. Very well done and presented. Glad you shared this one. Now don't get lost wherever it is your trying to go ;)

I had no idea that double decker buses affected you in this manner. Please, in the name of God, do not find a trible decker bus. Nice capture. I'm gone.

Hi LynEve, I really like the contrast between the small car against the large buses. Your color saturation and contrast of color and tone are great. I think the whole image would be even more powerful if cropped to remove the distracting elements: the man on our right and the light posts on the left. Cover those sections and see if you don't agree. Then what you have are the small car, big buses, bigger building. The power is in the contrast of elements and colors which keeps the eye moving naturally. Just my opinion. Great shot. anne :-)

Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)

Boy, this is just classic London! I wish I was there too, London, I mean, of course, I wouldn't mind being where you are now too if I could figure out where that is because you sure don't know. LOL NZ is what I meant! I'd love to be in either place. I would love to get back to that British Museum. I could spend a month there alone. I think London is amazing. It looks like you thought so as well. Great post, Lyn. Thanks so much.

now LynEve that is more like doubledutch than English!!! lol! My son, is in fact in London today - he took his girlfriend there for her birthday - awww! how sweet! I love those old red buses in London - everywhere else in the country we have more modern up to date buses but London keeps the traditional ones. I took several photos like this around trafalgar square last time I was there! this is great! I love to see your English photos! ...but would love to see some more of that beautiful land you are living in now - NZ is top of my list for places I most want to visit. Patti

The contrast is incredible. This is a true "postcard" shot. The narrative is as funny as the image is beautiful. You have a winner in this one! Superbly done. LynEve.
