The view from Victoria Peak, the highest mountain on Hong Kong Island (552m) Accessible by car, bus or funicular railway which is how I got there. In the early 1900's sedan chair was the main transportation to the top ! Most of Hong Kong's wealthiest residents live in this area.

Amazing capture Eve. It sure has changed since the 80's. You've certainly presented a whole new scene of the city. Perfect clarity and amazing view 'from the top'. Very well done and so glad you shared it.

Fascinating perspective here. The skyline can CLEARLY be enjoyed while still seeing the outskirts of the city and those mountains behind. Well done Eve.

What a view! Terrific shot of a bustling metropolis. I see what you mean by the cloudiness. It has to be smog. I wonder how many millions live in this city. Those buildings are really very close to each other.

I have seen some photos from this point before, but none were as clear and detailed as yours, Eve! I love the contrasts in it - dark grass in front, and blue gentle mistiness in the distance. Memorable photo!

A jaw-dropping and absolutely outstanding shot, Eve!

For an art project, I once had to view hundreds of photos of Hong Kong harbour. In my opinion, your image ranks among the top five I've ever seen. It's so unusual to view this vista on a clear day with the distant hills also in view, and you've made a beautiful capture of the skyscrapers' myriad of colours. Top marks, my friend!!!

Fabulous shot. It looks as though some of those buildings are as tall as the peak. They certainly don't waste any space there.

I have had the pleasure seeing that view in person, and the picture, although quite breathtaking, does not do it justice. It is quite the view, and the trolly ride up was something to behold. 45 degree angle up a cable car type contraption, that looked, and felt, like it would snap any second....lol
