Some of the boat homes in which approx 6000 of Hong Kong's 7 million people live, many of them never having lived on land. A stark contrast to the high rise buildings behind.

This is awesome Eve. The 'lifestyle' of days gone by for many and the skyline of modern times in the background just tells a whole story. You've done a masterful job presenting it here with perfect clarity and great composition. Excellent post and thanks for sharing it.

Stark contrast indeed in life styles ... made so obviously clear in this shot. This is an image I would expect to see on the cover of National Geographic. Great capture Eve.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

What a marvelous shot of contrasting lifestyles. If I had a choice, I think I'd opt for the boat. They are more beautiful. A great capture, Lyn. I agree with muggsy.

Very nice picture. Stark contrast indeed. We tend to take much for granted in our own societies never giving thought to how others have to live. Very enlightning.
