Dang it. Just when I said I wasn't gonna save any more flower compositions because I have too many, you have to up and do this to me. Now, I gotta save yet another one. It's a beauty. Thks a bunch!
Not quite sure how you achieved this effect ... but it's quite stunning. The "Bud" is dazzling surrounded in darkness. Well done ... 1st attempt or otherwise.

It gets better as it goes along, but will have your attention from the first quote.
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

I'm way behind so forgive me for not commening on your individual posts but know that I've looked at all of them since I left. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita
Hi Lyn, this is so beautiful, the bud is simply exquisite, a lovely flower, with a lovely background, and what a job you did with your talents here my dear! Your background is terrific and so enhances the flower to perfection!!! The bud being pink, doesn't sway my opinion at all you know, teasing you dear! I also want to mention how very much I appreciate your many visits to my gallery! They are so pleasing to me and fun to read, especially the reference you made on 'Contemplation', about your seeing nothing wrong with looking at the reflections upside down! You know Lyn, the fact of the matter, is that the image was not inverted, just merely taken as seen! Some thought this was the case! LOL! Thank you dear, Sincerely, Marilyn
I don't think rhodies are "mundane"--we have dozens of them in our garden each beautiful in its own way. This is a lovely presentation. What technique did you use to deal with the background?
