Wonderful, Eve!! The composition and the framing are gorgeous. All the technical elements are solid in this photo. And what a bonus to have the waterfouls in the foreground. With the drama in the sky, I'm not surprised it rained. This is a "wishing I was there" photo - very well done!

It's all about perspective and perception.

More does not always equal better.
This is quite a picture. At first I was thinking you had perhaps reduced the saturation to enhance the mood of the approaching storm, but as I look out my window at a typical gloomy autumn day here in Oregon, I see the same diminution of color. Your composition is just outstanding. I agree that this is a work of art.
