Come, travel back in time with me. To when trains belched steam, and men rode penny-farthings and women wore feathers in their hats :) It's not far to go - I shot this a couple of weeks ago on the day the Grand Old Girl came to town. I do not know what this couple were looking at. The sea and sky seemed too blue and the tracks too rusty so I decided to convert it to b/w. Opinions welcomed :)

Wow, I hope you did a lot more of those photos. And not even the motives are great, you also made the pics look like real old photos, made by your great grandfather or so.

Wow, the clarity is wonderful. We can imagine what they must be looking at and the image certainly looks like it is from another era.

CITIZENS of our world, check my website for a riveting, informational video that concerns all of you and the future of our globe. You will be flabbergasted, annoyed, distressed, in disbelief, but you will have been made aware of the WARNINGS. See this film. It gets better as it goes along, but will have your attention from the first quote.

Converting to B&W was the perfect choice for this. Looks like a scene taken from an old "silent film". I'm almost expecting to see Buster Keaton. Well done LynEve.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

Great shot...wonder what it would have looked like if you grained it up a bit?

I am trying to imagine the color and I think you did the right thing in coverting to B/W. Not only does it add age to the image but it also sharpens it. Fabulous work!! Do they really ride those bicycles? :)

A real show-stopper on this work!! Luv the B&W as well as the border and framing. Excellent old world style and really great with the human powered high-wheeler and the machine powered train!!

There's a wonderful feel to this in B&W, Eve - by your desciption of the color, you made a good choice. Sepia would have worked with this, too but I'm such a fan of B&W. Very nicely composed and another well done image, my friend!
