This gentleman kindly offered to pose on his wonderful machine for me. He is a familiar sight around my town and an expert rider, and no doubt looking forward to the Penny Farthing Championships later this month. He makes it look easy :)

Love the framing and sepia tones on this one. The top off the scene perfectly.

This is wonderful work, Lyn. What an amazing ability to ride that thing, and you did a splendid job of making it look old. Great post!

CITIZENS of our world, check my website for a riveting, informational video that concerns all of you and the future of our globe. You will be flabbergasted, annoyed, distressed, in disbelief, but you will have been made aware of the WARNINGS. See this film. It gets better as it goes along, but will have your attention from the first quote.

There is no way on God's green earth that I could even get on the thing, let alone ride it. Great capture and my kudos go out to this brave man.

Well, that answered my question. It certainly looks like a uncomfortable ride though. Excellent capture and treatment.

Fascinating! I love the bits of tape - they create the character together with sepia colour! I never actually believe that anyone can sit in one of these - Good luck to him! LOL, Thanks for this, Eve!

Great shot. And the Scotch tape makes all the difference--or is it Scots tape. Kidding.

Great picture and I love the sepia tone, but I think the little stick on corners would look more authentic than the scotch tape.
