The composition is terrific, Eve, and the trees on the right frame this photo so well. There's so many beautiful things in here to see, not the least of which is that sky! The houses are all in great focus; what a wonderful view!!

This way to see state the river in connection with open sea. For that sand-banks lie. A splendour photo.

Beautiful view. I thought I might be looking at NZ at first with that great sky, but the sky is great the world over. I would have loved to see more of Wales. This is wonderful!

Isn't that the west shore Lyn? If so, there will be two places in your photograph where I have actually stayed - and one of them was when I was only sweet 16 (just a few years ago! hmmm! lol) Glad you shared this - I love to see photographs from other people of areas that I know myself. Patti

Nice scape!! A wee tweak in Photoshop or other could cut down on some of the whites in the sky as it's a bit punched and you could bump up the blues for a deeper skyline...just a thought. Luv all those little houses and a lavish looking lake!!

As I was up top there, viewing this lovely take, I was thinking how wonderful it would be to have a house right on the spot where you stood to take this view, so that every day you could wander out on to the front porch, sip coffee, watch the people down below and the gaze at the shoreline and the mountains beyond..What a perfectly marvelous place and you did a great job of capturing it. I assume that we're standing in some sort of public garden? Nice work :)PJ

Very nice shot from a high vantage point. The town has an interesting uniformity of architecture and seems to be laid out in nearly straight lines. Beautiful setting and the sky and clouds look quite dramatic.

Hiya, great capture! I can almost see my house from there, but not quite. I love those gardens, and dont get to visit them as often as I should. You really have captured the beauty of the area so well. Again, lovely capture.
