Santa Maria Del Fiore, Florence. I have done quite a bit of sharpening and clarifying in PSP on this one in attempt to show more clearly the magnificent facade. Not wonderful results but I hope some of you may enjoy it :) . . Kodak V550

Your extra efforts paid off, Eve - the detail is very clearly seen in this photo and I'm just awe-struck looking at it. Again, very nice work indeed!

That is a awesome building. You did great job capturing it. Although I think you were off kilter a bit or is it me. This will still look great on the desktop.

The close up shot is really great of this old building and I'm glad you brought this to us as well as the first one. It was worth whatever it was you had to do to bring what you describe as better clarity to the detailed aspects of this design :)PJ

Gorgeous architecture, what magnificent details are in that building ! A terrific shot Eve & you did wonders with your post work. Absolutely fabulous hon. Is the building really that faint shade of blue or was it from the shadows ?

the details in the photo are amazing, but if im not mistaken the church is known as santa maria del fiore, or the duomo for short, the santa croce church is different.. great photo and good lighting, makes it somehow more dramatic.. thanks :)
