St George’s Hall, Liverpool.England. Opened in 1854, over 10 years after it was commissioned, it is now a central feature of Liverpool’s architecture, regarded by many to be the best example of Neo-Classical architecture in Europe. A regular visitor to the hall was Charles Dickens who held many of his readings in the 'Small Concert Hall'. The interior is dominated by the main hall 169 feet long with a floor of Minton tiles. The statue is Thomas Thornycroft's 1870 bronze 'Equestrian Statue of Prince Albert'. . . . ..Kodak V550

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

If this isn't a Kodak moment, Eve!! What super composition and such fascinating info to go along with it. How did you manage to get this shot without lots of people there? Great job; thanks!

This caught my eye (ouch dammit :P) on the front page. The perspective and color on this are gorgeous. the lighting isalso well balanced, but that lamp post in the right foreground is a little distracting..beyond that, perfect :o)
