Queen Victoria was crowned Empress of India the year this was built with our beautiful local limestone, which is still quarried today for building purposes, and it is also popular with sculptors. The building is currently being cleaned and restored,and the workmen were still busy on the lower storey when I shot this last week. I was pleased with the clarity as there were clouds of dust from below. . . . . . .Panasonic DMC-FZ7. . . . . Thank you for viewing and I welcome your comments.
