No frills, no bells, no whistles, no messing about with it (no frame !!) Just simple flowers in my garden. One is a bit blurry but I liked the graceful pose of the foreground one. These flowers (Primula Auricula Dusty Miller) are always a welcome sign of Spring. . . . .Comments welcomed and appreciated. . . .Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ7

No kidding - a lovely image of auriculas. Simple, delicate work and so suitable for these lovely Spring flowers. I agree, the almost bashful pose of the flower in the foreground is gorgeous and beautifully in focus. Perhaps the out of focus one is a shame and detracts a bit?
I think kneeling is likely to be useful for some more - please??

the focus and contrast on the front flower is spot on, so it does not matter about the rear flower at all - I like it how it is!! excellent photo Lyn! Patti

Wow, that's one really pretty primrose. I love the look of this flower and the way you have photographed it very much.

a dramatic and well done photo...lighting is great and so is the choice of which flower to focus the most....

Well, this is the type of shot I would get if I did a macro with my camera, and I suppose it was a toss up as to which one you wanted to feature. I love the shy look of the one that is the subject of your upload and the colors are brilliant in both of the blossoms. It's interesting that this is a part of the Dusty Miller family. I've had what I've called Dusty Miller in my flower garden as a border and it gets that same "dusty" look all over its leaves, but never produces any flowers...happy spring to you, my friend, and keep sending these beauties to your deprived Northern Hemisphere buddies ..lol.. :)PJ

Closer and when you think you're too close...get a little closer. :~)

Nice flora, but I'd like to see it a wee more close on the one that's kinda hangin' down...that's a beauty of an angle for a capture.
