The Blackpool Tower is a tourist attraction in the town of Blackpool, Lancashire, in the north of England. The tower is 158 m (518 ft 9 in) tall. It was inspired by the Eiffel Tower in Paris. It cost GBP £42,000 to construct, and it first opened to the public on 14 May 1894. It is a member of the World Federation of Great Towers.. . . . .Kodak V550

Picture Purrrfect . Some people are like slinky's, completely useless but still a lot of fun when you push them down the stairs. 8~O

So that's Blackpool. One of the biggest dance competitions in the world is held there every year. Love the ferris wheel in the background, too.

Wow, that's quite a tower. The whole scene reminds me of Brighton.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Sure looks like the Eiffel Tower. If it isn't, must be it's sister. Lovely beach shot. from the looks of the water line on that sea wall, they must have a very high tide around there. Nice capture.

As a tower pic, it's not as stunning as your Effifel Tower shot, but I've never had the privilege of seeing especially the wheel from this vantage point. Thanks for this lovely image ;)PJ

I would have loved to be standing where this picture was taken. Nature is so beautiful to just sit and take in its beauty. This will make a fantastic desktop. Thanks for sharing.
