I think this is terrific Lyn!...different and eye-catching!...I love the individual framing (sorry, I mentioned the frames?) surrounding these flowers beauties!.....
An interesting experiment. I like the idea of the individual pictures sort of "floating" across the scene, but the little jagged edges detract slightly from the skew effect. The watercolor filter was applied rather lightly and is not very noticible especially on the leaves. Keep on experimenting, Eve. The overall presentation of this image is very enjoyable and I'm sure you can come up with even more fun ideas.
Thanks for your comments :) Its a bit weird, the water colour effect does not show very well on my monitor either but at the largest size 1200x1600 it is quite visible, and I thought I may have overdone it. Back to the drawing board maybe.
If anyone sees it on the larger resolution I would be interested to hear what you see.
I like the watercolor effect and you are right, it shows up best at the larger resolution. This is a successful experiment from my point of view! I like the framing and colors.

Magnified this substantially Eve and frankly I wouldn't know about the watercolor if you hadn't mentioned it. But Lord these two pics are pretty. Can't help thinking what beautiful and unique place mats these would be at the dinner table.
A pretty collage. Those hydrangeas sure come in deep colors! I don't know what 'twirled' means so I can't comment on that. This makes a great DT with the two black areas for those who use both right and left sides.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

You were right. I had to blow it up to 16x12 in order to see the effect. I like it and I play around with that filter some, once in a while. It's hard to know how it's going to look at every size unless you experiment on your own computer. To make things worse, I just found out today there is a professional tool to calibrate the color on your screen, although you can do it for free by your own eye. *throws up hands* Don't know. I do know I like the overall effect of what you've created here, my dear Lyn
It"s beautiful! I like the flowers in two other colors and water colors look. Its a beautiful desktop! The simply frames are nice too.Very good work!
